Taking Care part of AXA Health, a leading provider of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services in the UK, today announced the transfer of Community Housing Group's TEC Services division to Taking Care. This strategic move significantly expands Taking Care's customer base and strengthens its position as a key player in the TEC industry.

Community Housing TEC services has been operating for over 30 years and has become one of the leading telecare and assistive technology providers in the country. Community Housing has partnered with Taking Care to ensure a seamless transition of its TEC services, allowing it to concentrate on its core Housing Association activities whilst ensuring its customers remain protected with TEC.

Taking Care is a dynamic and innovative force within the TEC market, and as such will deliver a seamless transfer to maintain a quality-orientated service that is built around the needs of the individual.

"We are delighted to welcome Community Housing Group to Taking Care,” said Steve Gates, Managing Director of Taking Care. “This transfer aligns perfectly with our strategic plans, allowing us to expand our reach and impact while maintaining our unwavering dedication to providing exceptional care and support."

Matt Cooney, Chief Executive of Community Housing commented, “Over the years, Community Housing has been very committed to the development of Technologically Enabled Care Services and we have worked with customers and their families to make sure they are safe to remain living independently in their own homes for as long as possible. We have not only provided these services to our own residents, but private customers and corporate clients, and have delivered lifeline services to over 25,000 customers. We are very proud of our achievements in building these services and the great projects and partnerships that have been developed to enhance our customers independence and quality of life.

We are also very proud of the achievements of our colleagues, and we know that our customers hold them in very high regard. This ranges from calling customers to wish them happy birthday to being their companion when something goes wrong. These services are incredibly important to people and their families and Community Housing has played an important role in helping people to keep their independence.

However, Community Housing is not a TECS specialist and, if the service is going to improve to the next level, it needs the investment and expertise of a specialist provider. We have carefully selected Taking Care based on their track record and we are confident that they will continue to deliver high quality services to our community housing lifeline users and our other TECS customers and partners.”
