IRIS IoT, a specialist provider of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, today announced a strategic collaboration with SiDLY, developer of medically certified health monitoring technology and a proprietary remote care platform.

The collaboration aims to support the development and deployment of solutions that enable regional strategies for care of the 65+ population, allowing seniors to live safely and independently in their own homes.

The partnership combines IRIS IoT’s expertise in IoT infrastructure, device integration, and data management with the SiDLY remote care platform, which includes wearable technology, a health monitoring system, medical-data-driven analytics and predictive algorithms, as well as operational tools for telecare centres and care service providers.

Through this collaboration, local governments, care organisations, healthcare providers, and telecare operators will be able to deploy scalable remote health monitoring solutions for seniors, supporting the development of modern community-based care models across regions.

The SiDLY solution enables continuous monitoring of safety and health parameters for older adults, including fall detection, emergency communication, and real-time patient location tracking. The system supports 24/7 remote care and enables rapid response in case of emergencies.

As ageing populations place increasing pressure on healthcare and social care systems, remote care technologies are becoming a key element of modern senior care strategies. They enable more proactive care, reduce unnecessary hospital visits, and help seniors remain safely in their homes for longer.

Stephen Westley of IRIS IoT said:

Connected technologies are playing an increasingly important role in building modern care models for ageing populations. By partnering with SiDLY, we combine advanced IoT infrastructure with medically certified health monitoring technology to deliver a scalable solution for care providers and healthcare systems.

Justyna Sendorek from SiDLY added:

SiDLY is not just wearable technology – it is primarily a proprietary remote health monitoring platform. We are building it on reliable medical-grade data that enables the development of algorithms and, in the future, predictive models supporting proactive patient care. Our collaboration with IRIS IoT allows us to scale this technology in the UK market.

The first phase of the collaboration will focus on deployments in remote care, assisted living, and community healthcare programmes, which are increasingly being developed by regional authorities and care organisations across the UK.
