Purpose (Objective)

• To explore the challenges and opportunities associated with digital systems in housing settings, with a focus on ensuring that technology is reliable, resilient and able to support the needs of residents and housing providers.

• To identify key risks, barriers and areas for improvement in the deployment and management of digital housing systems, supporting the development of practical guidance and recommendations for the sector.

Work Programme Update (November 2026)

Recruitment to this new ICG workstream is underway, with David Cross from Chubb Community Care confirmed as a group member. The appointment of a permanent chair remains outstanding and will be considered at the group's first meeting. Once established, the group will begin identifying key priorities and areas of focus to inform its work programme and support the effective deployment and management of digital systems across housing settings.
