Chiptech and Hepro Group announce Strategic Distribution Agreement to expand digital care and care technology across the Nordics

Partnership unites Chiptech’s expertise in telecare and social alarm technology with Hepro’s digital care solutions, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for independent living and resilient care delivery.

Chiptech today announced a new strategic distribution agreement with Hepro Care, part of the AddLife MedTech group, strengthening access to advanced care technology across the Nordics.

The agreement brings together Chiptech’s extensive expertise in Technology Enabled Care (TEC), safety monitoring and connected telecare with Hepro’s established portfolio of assistive devices and digital health platforms. Together, the organisations will empower care providers throughout the Nordics to deliver more connected, preventative, and person-centred services, underpinned by resilient, future-ready technology.

Hepro AS, founded in Norway in 1987, is one of Norway’s leading providers of assistive devices and digital care technology, with more than three and a half decades of design and manufacturing experience supporting independence, safety and quality of life. Through the Hepro Response digital health platform and its expanding Hepro Care international network, the organisation delivers digital supervision, medication support, personal safety alarms, communication tools and remote monitoring services for home care, assisted living and institutional environments.

Chiptech are a trusted expert in digital telecare, who led the analogue to digital transition across Australasia and the UK. Known for safety, resilience and first-class customer service, Chiptech have been at the forefront of the sector, delivering and supporting over 500,000 telecare digital devices, spanning both base units and GPS solutions.

Under the agreement, Chiptech will collaborate with Hepro across Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland, strengthening a shared Nordic approach to connected health and care technology. The partnership brings together two leading care-technology specialists, combining complementary expertise to deliver resilient, scalable digital care solutions.

As part of this agreement, Hepro Care A/S, now operational in the Danish market, and Zafe Care Systems AB, part of Hepro Group based in Sweden, add significant scale and systems integration across the Nordics. Zafe Care, recently awarded a place on the ADDA framework, supports more than 200 municipalities, with safety alarm and care technology solutions designed to improve independence for users while enabling more efficient and sustainable care delivery.

Together, the combined portfolio offers an end-to-end ecosystem spanning assistive devices, digital platforms, medication management, telecare and remote monitoring, aligned with the growing demand for sustainable health and social care models.
