Huw, currently director of finance at Hywel Dda University Health Board, brings more than two decades of senior public service experience across NHS Wales, audit practice and national system leadership. A Chartered Accountant, Honorary Professor at Aberystwyth University and fluent Welsh speaker, Huw has been responsible for the digital transformation agenda at Hywel Dda University Health Board, introducing modernisation programmes around data, interoperability and digital foundations to support safe, efficient care. His work across governance, reporting and assurance was recognised by Audit Wales and used across NHS Wales, and he has significant experience working with Welsh Government, local authority partners and regulators.
