Risk Management Toolkit

We are pleased to announce the release of three essential documents for organisations within the Technology Enabled Care sector. These documents are designed to help TEC organisations identify, assess, and manage risks in a more efficient and effective way.

Our Risk Management Toolkit is a comprehensive guide that covers everything you need to know about risk management in the TEC sector. It includes a step-by-step process for identifying, assessing, and managing risks specific to TEC, along with best practices and case studies that illustrate how to implement risk management strategies successfully.

The Risk Incident Reporting Template is a crucial document that enables TEC organisations to capture and report risk incidents in a standardised format. The template includes fields for capturing information such as the date and time of the incident, the type of risk, the impact on the organisation, and any remediation actions taken. By using this template, TEC organisations can quickly and easily report risk incidents, track trends, and identify areas for improvement.

The Risk Register Template is an essential document that helps TEC organisations manage and monitor risks over time. The template includes fields for capturing information such as the risk description, likelihood, impact, and risk owner. By using this template, TEC organisations can prioritise risks based on their likelihood and impact, track risk mitigation activities, and monitor the effectiveness of their risk management strategies.

The Risk Management Toolkit includes a range of other resources designed specifically for the TEC sector. These include a Risk Maturity Self Assessment tool, a Sources of Risk Checklist, a TEC Sector Risks – 2021 Sector Survey summary, and a Risk Likelihood and Severity Evaluation Tool. Together, these tools and templates provide a comprehensive risk management framework that enables TEC organisations to identify and mitigate risks proactively.

TSA wish to thank all the people and organisations that contributed to the work of ‘Special Interest Group 14 – Risk Management’.

Particular thanks go to Taking Care for their work on various templates for the risk toolkit.
