Openreach has officially relaunched their Digital Services Test Lab, now located in Adastral Park, Martlesham Heath, Ipswich (IP5 3RE).
This move offers even greater accessibility to organisations across the UK, empowering them to test their analogue and digital Telecare/Technology Enabled Care devices on leading digital landline networks, including those from Sky, TalkTalk, BT, EE, Vodafone, and Zen.
The original test lab was launched in 2021, and has been invaluable for the Telecare industry and beyond, serving as a collaborative space for Service Providers, Suppliers, and Commissioners. From intruder and fire alarms to lift alarms and flood defence systems, the lab allows for a wide range of testing in an All-IP environment, accommodating FTTP, FTTC, and SOGEA networks.
To ensure seamless functionality across digital infrastructures, we encourage all relevant partners to utilise this facility for rigorous device testing. For further information on testing arrangements, or to initiate a booking, contact Openreach directly at all-ip@openreach.co.uk.
Don’t forget to refer to our previous guidance on the analogue-to-digital transition for social alarms here, as it remains a valuable resource for navigating this transition.
This new location marks another step forward in ensuring that essential devices are fully compatible with modern digital networks, providing assurance and enhanced reliability to service users across the UK.
