ITEC to Move to Liverpool Experience Campus from March 2027

26 February 2026

From March 2027 onwards, our leading international event for Technology Enabled Care, the International Technology Enabled Care Conference, will move to Liverpool Experience Campus (formerly known as ACC Liverpool), marking the beginning of a new chapter in the continued growth of both the event and the Technology Enabled Care sector it serves.

For nearly a decade, Birmingham has been home to ITEC, hosting the conversations, introductions, and partnerships that have helped shape the sector as it exists today. Over that time, the event has provided a central meeting point for service providers, suppliers, housing organisations, local authorities, NHS partners, and system leaders, bringing together those delivering and enabling TEC with those responsible for commissioning, designing, and implementing services. At its heart, ITEC has always been about enabling organisations to learn from one another, build partnerships, and strengthen services that support people to live independently, safely, and well.

When ITEC first arrived in Birmingham, the sector was smaller, and many organisations were still exploring how TEC could support the people and communities they served. Service providers were refining their delivery models, suppliers were introducing new technologies, and housing, health, and care organisations were beginning to embed TEC more consistently within their services. Since then, TEC has become firmly established as a core part of service delivery, supporting independence, strengthening community provision, and helping organisations respond to growing demand.

ITEC has grown alongside this shift. Each year has brought more organisations, more senior decision-makers, and more opportunities to share learning, explore innovation, and build partnerships. The exhibition hall has become the focal point of that interaction, while the conference programme brings delegates together to exchange insight, experience, and practical learning drawn from real-world delivery.

The move to Liverpool Experience Campus ensures ITEC can continue to grow alongside the sector. Many will recognise the venue under its former name, ACC Liverpool, which has hosted major national and international events including the Eurovision Song Contest, political party conferences, the MTV Europe Music Awards, the MOBO Awards, the World Gymnastics Championships, and the Davis Cup. Its evolution into Liverpool Experience Campus reflects its position as one of the UK’s leading integrated event destinations.

The convention centre includes a 3,250 square metre exhibition hall, complemented by a 1,350-seat tiered auditorium and multiple breakout spaces, all connected within a single, purpose-built waterfront campus. For exhibitors, this expanded environment provides increased visibility and greater opportunity to engage with a growing audience. For delegates, it creates a more open and accessible experience, with improved space, stronger connectivity between conference sessions and exhibition areas, and more opportunities to engage directly with the organisations delivering and supporting TEC.

Liverpool itself offers excellent accessibility from across the UK, with direct rail connections and a compact city centre location. The campus sits within easy reach of major transport links, hotels, and amenities, making it easier for delegates and exhibitors to attend, connect, and participate fully in the event.

As TEC continues to evolve, ITEC will continue to provide the central meeting point for the organisations and individuals shaping its future. The move to Liverpool Experience Campus ensures the event can continue to grow, providing the space, environment, and opportunity needed to support collaboration, innovation, and the continued improvement of services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
