Taking Care launches free event to showcase smarter care through partnership

Taking Care is hosting Connect Live! Delivering Smarter Care through Partnerships in Worcester on 23 September 2025 – a free one-day event bringing together housing, health, social care and technology leaders to showcase smarter, more sustainable care partnerships. With expert speakers, live technology demos and hands-on workshops, the event highlights how collaboration can help more people live safely and independently for longer.

Senior leaders from housing, health, social care and Technology Enabled Care (TEC) will gather in Worcester on 23 September 2025 for Connect Live! – Delivering Smarter Care through Partnership, a free one-day event hosted by Taking Care, one of the UK’s largest providers of personal alarms and monitoring services.

The event will bring together experts from local authorities, the NHS, housing associations and care technology providers to share practical strategies for more connected, inclusive and sustainable care. Delegates will hear from confirmed speakers including representatives from Worcestershire County Council, NHS Hereford & Worcester, The Agile Ageing Alliance, Platform Housing Group, Brain in Hand, Worcestershire Association of Carers and Taking Care.

Alongside plenary sessions and interactive workshops, attendees can explore the latest assistive technologies at a tabletop exhibition and tour fully equipped demonstration apartments at the Smart Living TEC Academy, Heart of Worcestershire College.
