Scandinavian IoT pioneers Develco Products and Datek Smart Home unite as Onics to shape the future of connected living

Aarhus, Denmark, 10th of April 2025 – Today, Danish IoT provider Develco Products and Norwegian company Datek Smart Home are announcing the launch of their new company name Onics: a brand built to empower innovation, elevate everyday life, and connect technology with purpose.

Onics is not just a new name. It is the culmination of decades of combined experience in developing world-leading IoT hardware and cloud software. Onics offers a mature white label platform for care and security providers as well as full end-to-end solutions within insurance and energy for visionary solution providers across Europe and North America.

The launch of the new brand follows Develco Products’ acquisition of Datek Smart Home in October 2024.
