Part-Time Auditor Opportunity, Northeast England and Scotland - TEC Quality, Quality Standards Framework

TEC Quality is looking for an experienced Technology Enabled Care professional to support the continued growth and impact of the Quality Standards Framework. This is an opportunity to play a direct role in strengthening quality, safety, innovation and continuous improvement across the TEC sector, working with organisations that are committed to delivering better, safer and more reliable support for people and communities.

TEC Quality is the assurance partner of the TEC Services Assocation, and administers the Quality Standards Framework, the UK’s only UKAS accredited assurance framework for Technology Enabled Care. TEC Quality works with providers and suppliers across the UK to help raise standards, build confidence and support good practice across Technology Enabled Care and Community Equipment Services. We are now inviting Expressions of Interest for a part-time Auditor covering the Northeast England and Scotland region.

The role will involve delivering both full onsite audits and annual remote audits in line with the QSF, supporting organisations through a robust, professional and constructive assessment process.

As an Auditor, you would play a direct role in that work. You would help organisations reflect on their services, recognise where they are performing well, and identify where improvements can be made. Your experience would support better assurance, stronger services and, ultimately, better outcomes for the people who rely on TEC and Community Equipment Services every day.

About the role

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct a mix of onsite and remote audits across a defined portfolio
    • Support organisations to demonstrate quality, safety and continuous improvement against the QSF
    • Work with TEC Quality as part of a respected national assurance framework
    • Help maintain and raise standards across Technology Enabled Care and Community Equipment Services
    • Have the opportunity to undertake additional audit activity as the scheme grows or where support is needed in other regions

Contract options

The role will preferably be offered on a self-employed Associate basis. Part-time employed contract options may also be considered.

Candidates should ideally be based within the Northeast England or Scotland region, or be able to travel across this area when required.

Candidate requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Technology Enabled Care sector
    • Experience gained within a TEC provider or supplier organisation
    • A strong understanding of quality standards, audit processes and compliance frameworks
    • A professional, balanced and constructive approach to assessment
    • The confidence to engage with a range of organisations and stakeholders
    • A commitment to improving quality, safety and outcomes across the sector

Why join TEC Quality?

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the future of quality assurance in Technology Enabled Care.

You will be joining TEC Quality at an important point in its development, as the QSF continues to grow and as quality, safety, innovation and resilience become increasingly important across the sector.

For the right person, this role offers the chance to use your TEC experience in a practical and influential way, helping organisations evidence good practice, identify areas for improvement and strengthen confidence in the services they provide.
