Preventative Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Lead (Grants & Funding projects)

We are hiring a pro-active individual to work on projects within the Technology Enabled Care service to rollout projects that have been secured by external funding.

As the technology enabled care market changes, we are embarking on a change in our service delivery and are leading on initiatives to introduce preventative TEC solutions in addition to our reactive model to the residents of Cornwall. Technology enabled care (TEC) is using technology to help monitor and manage individuals at risk to live longer, healthier and more independent lifestyles.

The role will initially be for 12 months to work directly with the operational teams and service leadership to lead on a number of preventative TEC projects. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the way in which remote and preventative care is delivered for our residents in the future.

This role will be a mixture of home and office-based working with potential travel around Cornwall and occasional out of county travel. A vehicle will be provided for home assessments and TEC installations.

About us:

Corserv Care is a Cornwall Council owned company. The Lifeline and Assistive Living Service is a telecare service offering high quality call handling, monitoring and installation of personal alarms, sensors and other technology enabled care equipment to support people to remain in or return to their own homes and be as safe and independent as possible with the use of TEC.

Your job will be:

Completing opportunity appraisals in relation to funding opportunities.

Defining project criteria and developing delivery plans.

Establishing baseline data, performance indicators and other methods to gather project success.

Working directly with the Customer Support Lead to ensure appropriate capacity to support project delivery.

Working with assessing staff to identify the best solutions and the installation of equipment in peoples homes.

Working with other teams to develop and review project opportunities, this will include colleagues from the voluntary sector, Adult Social Care and Health.

Working in partnership with other teams to identifying suitable candidates for trials.

Working in partnership with our TEC providers to measure success and obtain case studies.

Producing regular, detailed reports of trials to be shared with management, senior leadership and other stake holders.

Working with other local authorities to share learning and service growth opportunities.

Develop methods to engage with our residents taking part in the trials, our customer insight work shapes everything that we do.

Work with our communications team to share our successes and innovation with our residents.

About you:

The following qualifications and experience are essential:

  • Experience in health or social care
  • Project lead experience
  • Good IT skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to be able to complete detailed reports and manage deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer focussed attitude
  • The following qualifications and experience are desirable but not essential:
  • Knowledge of technology enabled care equipment
  • Project management qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Our offer to you:

Salary: £26,214 - £35,858

Working Hours: 37 hours per week.

Contract Type: 12-month fixed term contract

Base: The office is based atBodmin PL31 2FR. This is a hybrid role to be discussed at interview.
