Are you passionate about helping others? Do you have experience in a caring or community role? We’re looking for compassionate and committed individuals to join our team as Mobile Emergency Responders—supporting vulnerable people to stay safe, confident, and independent in their own homes.

At Medequip Connect, we believe in empowering our team to provide care that truly matters. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values your experience, supports your growth, and puts people at the heart of everything we do.

About Medequip Connect

We support over 50,000 people nationwide through Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services, helping older adults, those with disabilities, and vulnerable individuals remain independent and secure at home. Whether it's responding to emergency alerts, installing life-saving equipment, or simply being a reassuring presence, our work transforms lives.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond promptly, in line with TSA regulations to emergency alarm calls, assessing individual needs and delivering appropriate support
  • Install and maintain TEC equipment, showing users and families how to use it confidently
  • Promote our services within local communities, helping more people access vital support

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring, responsible nature and a genuine desire to help people
  • Experience in a carer, support, or community role is highly desirable
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a suitably insured vehicle
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights) as part of a supportive team

What We Offer

  • Competitive annual salary of £26,665.60
  • Fully equipped company vehicle (for business use)
  • Ongoing training, professional development, and supportive leadership
  • Employee assistance programme including free counselling
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Work phone, iPad, and uniform

If you want a role where you can make a real impact—while growing your skills and being part of a dedicated, values-led team—then we’d love to hear from you.

Join us at Medequip Connect and be the reason someone sleeps better at night, knowing help is always at hand.

We welcome applications from all communities and are committed to equal opportunities. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Please note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. You must have the right to work in the UK.

Ideal for candidates living in Amber Valley, North East Derbyshire, Derbyshire Dales & Erewash.
