Acticheck is a UK based innovative health and well-being technology company which has developed and launched the world's first continuously monitoring personal alert system: the Assure. This award-winning, life-saving wristband has a simple "call-for-help" function, fall detection alarm and a range of other unique features including "I'm OK" checks and "cold-at-home" warnings. It is fully waterproof, can be worn at all times and has a one-year battery life providing users uninterrupted protection. The company was founded in 2014 by entrepreneur Karl Gibbs who wanted to develop a new up-to-date system that not only gave peace of mind to active senior individuals to live independently at home but also a system that allowed friends and family to remain involved in providing welfare, care and reassurance on a daily basis.
