South Gloucestershire Council
We are a unitary authority delivering a traditional Telecare service to approximately 1600 customers. The assessment, installation, maintenance and repair of the Telecare is delivered in house. There is also an in-house rapid response and falls service provided to residents subscribed to the Telecare offer. The monitoring is commissioned and delivered currently by Senior Link Eldercare. The Council is embracing Assistive Technology as to invest to save option. The aim is to develop an Assistive Technology service that can accelerate the promotion and adoption of AT knowledge across the service, operational teams and partners.
