TSA Business Plan - 2026-2030

We are pleased to launch our Business Plan for 2026 to 2030, setting out a clear and ambitious direction for the years ahead. Shaped through deep engagement with members, partners and people with lived experience, this plan reflects both the pace of change across technology enabled care and the opportunity we have, collectively, to improve lives. It provides a shared framework for action, bringing focus to our priorities and a common purpose for the TEC community to align behind.

This Business Plan was formally approved by the Boards on 6 November 2025.

Its development has been grounded in a deep understanding of the technology enabled care sector, and the political, economic, social and technological context in which we operate.

In October 2024, the Board endorsed a mission-centred innovation approach, shaping a new ambition and set of missions for the organisation. These were challenged by the Strategic Futures Advisory Committee and tested with sector leaders and stakeholders at ITEC 2025, before being refined through that feedback.

Alongside this, the Senior Management Team developed a set of complementary strategic objectives. These were tested with members at an in-person event in July 2025, attended by almost 140 people from over 80 organisations, including people with lived experience. The objectives were refined again and presented at the joint Boards’ Away Day later that month.

Implementation planning was iterative and pragmatic, ensuring that the ambitions in this plan are deliverable within available resources. The 2026 budget-setting process was aligned to the business planning cycle.

People with lived experience are embedded throughout our governance and have played an active role in shaping this plan through events such as ITEC and the July 2025 members’ event.

This Business Plan provides the TEC community with a clear platform to align behind shared objectives, drive real progress, and improve lives.
