S​imon Arnold

Simon has had a wide-ranging career across multiple industries, with the last 15 years being focused on health & social care. Most recently, Simon was the CEO and is now Non-Executive Director of Optima Health Group Limited – the UK’s largest specialist occupational health & wellbeing organisation, providing clinical services to over 4 million of the UK working population through a clinical team totalling over 1,000.

Prior to this, Simon led Ark Home Healthcare and Ark Complex Care, supporting people in their own homes through domiciliary and clinical care services and providing over 2.5m hours of care and support every year.

Simon was Managing Director of Tunstall Healthcare UK from 2011 – 2014.. He was also a Commissioner for the Government’s Commission on Residential Care.

Simon entered the healthcare arena as a member of the Board of Aviva UK Health where he led the operations for private medical insurance and income protection.

Simon’s ongoing passion for social care and TEC comes from his own experience in supporting his parents – both of whom have suffered with Parkinson’s Disease and vascular dementia – as well as his professional experience over the past decade in particular.

He believes that everyone should have the capability and opportunity to live in dignity in their own homes and manage their health & wellbeing in a proactive and preventive way with the help of both data and technology.
