Rowan Atkins

Rowan has 18 years’ marketing and PR experience, mainly in the social care, housing, health, local government, education and public procurement sectors. Rowan started her career managing marketing at the Guardian newspaper and then at Warrington Borough Council, before going freelance in 2004 and looking after communications activity for charities, membership organisations, social enterprises and SMEs since then.

Rowan currently manages a wide range of communications for clients in the sector, from writing marketing strategies and running stakeholder visioning workshops to meeting journalists, writing newsletters or briefing designers on print material.
