About the TEC Services Association

The representative body for Technology Enabled Care

The TEC Services Association (TSA) is the representative body for technology enabled care (TEC) services, working on behalf of and advising organisations including telecare and telehealth providers, housing associations, care providers, emergency services, academia, charities, government bodies and health and social care commissioners.

We are a membership based, not-for-profit community interest company (CIC) with a 22 year history in transforming the TEC sector.

The TSA’s vision is that people choose technology enabled care to enrich everyday life and our mission is to drive the transformation and growth of the TEC industry.

TSA is governed by the TEC Services Association Board of Directors. Board members represent suppliers and service providers in the TEC sector.

Our Structure

There are two distinct and separate organisations in the TSA group.

The TEC Services Association CIC

The TSA manages all member services, training and events and provides business transformation and growth support. TSA will lobby and raise awareness of the impact TEC can have and provide guidance to users and choosers.

The TSA is a membership organisation consisting of service providers, suppliers, manufacturers and other stakeholders from across the public and private sector.

TEC Quality Ltd

Our standards arm, TEC Quality audits and certifies organisations against the Quality Standards Framework.

TEC Quality is independent, with its own Board of Directors and an Impartiality Committee which both consist of experts in health, social care, regulation and academia.

Whilst QSF remains the intellectual property of the TSA, TEC Quality has full autonomy and sector-wide support to administer the QSF standards. TEC Quality has a team of independent auditors, who have all been trained to ISO 19011 standards.
