TEC Workers Classified as Key Workers
Following successful lobbying of senior officials by TSA and its strategic partners, the Government has published its list of Key Workers to include those "those working as part of the health and social care supply chain”, with the TEC workforce as being accepted within this category. The purpose of lobbying is to emphasise to the sector that all those supplying, operating or responding to TEC are included in the government definition of Key Workers to enable business continuity and to allow for the continued functioning and safe, successful delivery of critical services out into the community. Your role is essential to your organisation’s public service; please refer to your child’s school, or if it’s closed to your local authority who will seek to redirect you to a local school in your area that your child, or children, can attend.
